He was involved in a scuffle with another guy he met in the streets he was arrested and there after spent 7yrs in prison, he saw his offence as a minor offence and an entrenchment on his rights, while in prison he swore to take revenge on the Nigerian police.
After coming out he basically sold Alcohol,cigarettes and hard drugs to make ends meet and would eventually join a gang of robbers who kept their bags of weapons with him.

He was inspired to form his own gang laying siege on different states across the southern part of the country, having one of the biggest and longest reign of terror in different parts including Kwara, Kogi and Lagos State.
He was noticably referred to as "Godogodo" Which means Hefty man
by various members of his gang.
One of his most brutal operations was on Sunday, September 9, 2021, when his gang unleashed mayhem on residents of agege, ikeja, and various parts of the state killing police men and residents and attacking bureau de change operators in agege.
For more than a decade the one eyed monster specialized in killing police officers, Carting away rifles breaking into different shops and maiming residents. He lost count of his victims and the people he had murdered.
Godogodo lost an eye during a gun battle with members of the Nigerian Oduduwa people's Congress Opc. Recalling the experience he said "Bullet hit one of my eyes it was 2009 in ijoko, I don't know the particular area in ijoko but it was about 8pm. When we were operating in a residential area. We were six armed robbers. in that operation and we stole phones, and a laptop computer before Opc members blocked us. it was during the shoot out that I lost an eye.

According to various sources his family and close relatives didn't know he was an armed robber, he never womanized or smoked he was quiet and very easy going, He was also said to have 52 fish ponds and 6 different houses across different states in the south and according to reports he never used a Sim card beyond a day. Giving him the perfect family man look in the eyes of his close relatives.
He was eventually captured in August 1 2013 after his hideout was discovered, The members of his gang that were already in custody were shown a video of his last surgery and they confirmed it was him and closely his hideout was discovered. He previously swore to kill himself and hundreds of policemen rather than being arrested and indeed different ammunitions were discovered in his house.
During his time he was said to have killed nothing less than a 100 police officers making him one of the most ruthless criminals in Nigerian history.
