Who is Jesus Christ? Many people think of Jesus Christ as a good man, a great teacher, or one of God's prophets. All of this is true of Jesus but this evidence does not fully explain who He really is. The Bible tells us that Jesus is God in human body, God in human form (see John 1: 1,14). God came into the world to teach us, heal us, correct us, forgive us - and die for us! Jesus Christ is God, the Creator, the sovereign God. Have you accepted this Jesus?

What is a Savior and why do we need a Savior? The Bible tells us that we have all sinned, we have all committed evil (Romans 3: 10-18). As a result of our sins, we deserve God's wrath and judgment. The judgment corresponding to sin committed against an infinite and eternal God is an infinite punishment (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20: 11-15). This is why we need a Savior!

Jesus Christ came into the world and died for us. Jesus' death was the infinite atonement for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died to bear our sins (Romans 5: 8). Jesus paid that price so we don’t have to pay anymore. Jesus ’resurrection from the dead proved His death was enough to pay the penalty for our sins. Therefore, Jesus is the only Savior (John 14: 6; Acts 4:12)! Do you believe in Jesus as your Savior?

Is Jesus your “personal” Savior? Many people think of Christianity as simply attending church, practicing religious ceremonies, and/or not doing evil. All of this is not true Christianity. True Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus as your Savior means putting your trust and confidence in Jesus. No one can be saved through one's faith. No one can be forgiven for doing something. There is only one way you can be saved, which is to accept Jesus as your personal Savior, believing that His death is the payment for your sins and His resurrection is the guarantee of your eternal life (John 3:16). Is Jesus your personal Savior?

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, say the words below to God. Remember, reciting this prayer or any other prayer will not save you. Only faith in Jesus Christ and the work He accomplished on the cross for you can save you from sin. This prayer is just an easy way to show your faith in God and thank Him for His saving grace.

Say Your Prayers To Accept Jesus Christ

"Lord, I confess that I have sinned against You and deserve to be punished. But I believe Jesus Christ took my place to receive the punishment so that I can be forgiven through faith in Christ. I accept Your offer of forgiveness and put my trust in You for salvation I accept Jesus as my personal Savior! Thank God for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! Amen! "
